Teun Bijleveld joins Triestina
US Triestina Calcio are pleased to announce the acquisition of Dutch left-back Teun Bijleveld.
Bijleveld, 26, has joined Triestina on a two-year contract.
After coming through the youth of AZ Alkmaar, he moved to Ajax U21 from 2017 to 2019, where he made 55 appearances, scored 4 goals, and provided 14 assists, winning the Dutch second division. He then gained further experience with Heracles Almelo over two seasons, making 56 appearances, 35 of which were in the Eredivisie, with four goals and four assists.
In the 2021/22 season, he played for Emmen, contributing to their promotion to the Eredivisie with thirteen appearances.
Over the last two seasons, he played for Roda in the Dutch second division, making 55 appearances, contributing two goals and three assists.
He also boasts 28 appearances and two goals with the Dutch youth national teams.
