Domenico Frare joins Triestina

US Triestina Calcio are pleased to announce the acquisition of central defender Domenico Frare.

Frare, 28, joins Triestina from AS Cittadella 1973 on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, upon reaching certain conditions.

Frare developed in the youth academy of Sacilese before moving to Parma, where he spent four years. He gained experience in Serie C with Tuttocuoio and Pontedera, making 56 appearances and scoring two goals over three seasons.

Since the 2018/19 season, Frare has been with Cittadella, where he played the last six seasons in Serie B, making 150 appearances, with three goals and one assist across league, playoffs, and Coppa Italia, and also served as the team's captain.
